This position is located in beautiful Torrance, south of LAX and is readily accessible from all areas of Los Angeles and Orange County.

CPA / INTERNAL CONTROL AUDITOR / INTERNAL AUDITOR

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform internal audits in conformance with SOX and professional standards and deliver them on time and on budget
• To plan, execute, and present the results of the SOX mandated management review of internal controls
• To complete preliminary investigations of fraud allegations
• To complete operational audits as requested by management
• To support the external auditors work on completing internal control assessment
• To conduct high level assessment of the control environment
• To review and approve the work of other auditors 

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 10 years professional work experience, including supervisory or manager level
• Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in the State of California
• 3- 7 years of experience in auditing with a Big 4 (Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Ernst &Young),or second tier public accounting firm (BDO, Grant Thornton, McGladrey & Pullen)
• Accounting or auditing work experience in an SAP environment
• Proficient to Expert level knowledge of  Excel/Word/Visio and some auditing tools

 

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• CIA, CISA
• Experience in a distribution and logistics company
• Experience in a lending finance organization
